NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT AMENDMENTS TO TITLE 1 (FACILITIES) AND TITLE 2 (PROCUREMENT) OF THE TETON COUNTY RULES AND REGULATIONS
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Wyoming Statute §16-3-103 that TETON COUNTY, WYOMING intends to consider the adoption of amendments to Title 1 (Facilities) including increase in number of events per year at Search and Rescue Building allowing alcoholic beverages to be served, permitting non-profits to utilize space in any facility used by Fire/EMS, Search and Rescue and Emergency Operations Center, replaces embedded fee schedules with a link to online fee schedules, adds the administration building to Exhibit A to allow the BCC chambers to be available on a limited use and fee basis, corrects clerical errors in current rules. Notice is also given pursuant to Wyoming Statute §16-3-103 that TETON COUNTY, WYOMING intends to consider the adoption of amendments to Title 2 (Procurement) including changes specifying the number of bids, changes related to confidentiality and retention of bids, and non-material corrections and edits, changes to vehicle policy, removal of furniture rule, removal of federal funds rule, increase of threshold for professional services, update to performance bonds, notice of acceptance and final settlement based on state statutory changes, change to change orders, and update of definitions.

These rules are compliant with Wyoming Statute §9-5-304 and copy of the assessment may be obtained from General Services. A hearing to take testimony on the proposed rules shall be held on September 1, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. during the regular meeting of the Teton County Board of County Commissioners Meeting at the County Commissioner’s Chambers located at 200 S. DRAFT 2019-2020 LDR CLEANUP RELEASED FOR PUBLIC REVIEW
Teton County planning staff undertakes an initiative biennially to clean up the Teton County Land Development Regulations (LDRs) with an LDR text amendment. The project number associated with this LDR Cleanup amendment is AMD2019-0006. The LDR Cleanup process does not propose significant changes to policy and primarily addresses minor typos and corrections, clarifications, compliance with other law and regulations, codification of existing practice for transparency and clarity, and minor policy tweaks.
A redlined draft of all the proposed changes in the 2019-2020 LDR Cleanup is available now for public review and comment at http://jacksontetonplan.com/. Included with the Draft is a guide to the cleanup that lists items by category, describes the change, and references the section in the text where the proposed change is occurring.
The public hearing scheduled for the 2019-2020 LDR Cleanup is June 8th, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. during the County Planning Commission meeting followed by the Board of County Commissioners meeting on July 7th, 2020 at 9 a.m. to consider adoption. The preferred time to receive public comment is by June 7th, 2020 for consideration at the June 8th, 2020 Planning Commission meeting.
Draft Jackson/Teton County Comprehensive Plan Update
For the last ten months, our community, Town and County staff, Town Council, and County Commissioners have worked to review the Growth Management Program and update the 2012 Jackson/Teton County Comprehensive Plan. The result of this work so far was the public release of a draft 2020 Comprehensive Plan Update on March 20, 2020. With plan enhancements and implementation directives previously analyzed now incorporated into the text of the Comprehensive Plan as proposed updates, the next step is reviewing these enhancements before adoption of an updated Comp Plan can occur. The Town Council and Board of County Commissioners are meet jointly to evaluate proposed Plan updates and consider adoption. Any change to this schedule will be made publicly available. Tribal Trail Connector Road
Teton County is in the preliminary stages of an environmental study, design, and potential construction of the 2,600-ft long (approximately 0.5-mile) segment of Tribal Trail Road that extends from Cherokee Lane North to Wyoming Highway 22 (WYO 22). The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is serving as an agent to the project to deliver the project and implement the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process. An Environmental Assessment is being prepared consistent with NEPA. Teton County is currently seeking feedback from the community on the Tribal Trail Connector Project.
