Property Tax Deferral Program

The Property Tax Deferral Program allows deferment for up to one-half (1/2) of the ad valorem taxes owed, the amount deferred may not exceed one-half (1/2) of the fair market value of the property. Participation is based upon either the applicant's age or income. Interest accrues at a compounded rate of approximately 4% per annum. If you wish to participate in this program, contact the County Assessor's Office to apply, deadline is on or before November 10th--see W.S. 39-13-107 (b)(iii)(A). Veteran Exemption Program

The Veteran Exemption Program may allow qualifying taxpayers to reduce their property tax liability or the county portion of motor vehicle registration fees. Individual eligibility is determined by the County Assessor, please contact the Assessor's office for further information.

Property Tax Exemptions, Deferral, Relief or Refund Program

• If you applied for, and did receive a veteran tax exemption through the Assessor's office, the amount of credit will be noted under the assessed valuation breakdown.
• If you wish to participate in property tax deferral program, contact the County Assessor`s office to apply, deadline is on or before November 10th of the tax year.
