Procurement

The goal of the Teton County Procurement Policy is to provide for the fair and equitable treatment of all persons involved in public procurement by Teton County, Wyoming; to maximize the purchasing value of public funds and to provide safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity.

Brief description of County procurement:

Small purchases: Goods and services that are included in the annual budget and valued at below $7,500 may be purchased or solicited without a bid process.

Medium purchases: Goods and services that are included in the annual budget and valued between $7,500 and $35,000 shall be purchased through a competitive informal bid, request for proposal, or request for qualifications.  At least three bids or proposals shall be solicited.

Large purchases: Goods and services that are included in the annual budget and valued over $35,000 shall be purchased and contracted through a competitive formal bid, request for proposal, or request for qualifications.  Each bid shall be advertised for at least 2 weeks.
