Sharps Disposal Site

The Public Health Nursing office is a sharps disposal site. Please ensure that your sharps are in a sealed certified sharps (red hard plastic) container. Teton County Public Health sells quart-size certified containers for $5 and two-gallon certified containers for $10. Your pharmacy may provide other options for obtaining a certified container. Drop-off hours for sharps disposal are Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00 at our front desk.

*Please make sure to have all needles and syringes contained. We cannot accept containers with needles sticking out or lid open, and we cannot take coffee cans, milk jugs, orange juice cartons, or thin plastic containers. Please help us ensure your safety as well as our staff's safety. Thank you for cooperating in keeping this community healthy by reducing contamination.
