Message from the Director of Health

At the Teton County Health Department, we are guided by our vision of a safe environment and a healthy community. Our mission is to promote the health and wellbeing of the community through protection and prevention efforts in collaboration with an engaged public and other community partners.

For example, you might research currently active outbreaks on our Diseases page, then schedule an appointment for your annual flu shot (or another vaccine) via our Clinic page. That same Diseases page might also get you thinking about food-borne illness and inspire you to check out the latest inspection report for your favorite restaurant before heading out to dine.

Perhaps you’ll explore our extensive collection of county-level health data on our Healthy Teton County page and be inspired to join our Community Prevention Coalition of Teton County or join the Teton District Board of Health.
