2025 Fall Clean Up dates
The Town of Jackson and Teton County Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling invite the community to participate in this year’s Fall Clean Up events.
Free compostable bags
Beginning Monday Oct. 27 until supplies last. Compostable bags are NOT required to participate in yard-waste collection events. Bags can be picked up at:
- Jackson Town Hall (150 East Pearl Street), and
- Teton County Recycling Center (3270 S. Adams Canyon Dr.)
One-day-only free Town yard-waste collection at the Rodeo Grounds
Friday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Note that there will be no curbside pickup.)
- Bring your leaves, grass, pumpkins and branches, either loose or in bags, which should then be emptied into appropriate piles.
- No trash or dog waste, please.
- Waste may only be left at the Rodeo Grounds between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. hours on Nov. 7 *ABSOLUTELY no drop-offs before or after these hours, please!*
- Residential yard waste only. Not intended for commercial business drop-off.
Free Yard Waste Days at Trash Transfer Station, Saturday, Nov. 1, through, Saturday, Nov. 8
During regular Trash Transfer Station operating hours
- Trash Transfer Station hours are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
- First 500 pounds of residential yard-waste per household is free at the Trash Transfer Station.
- Grass, leaves, branches and pumpkins may be brought loose or in bags, which should then be emptied and sorted into appropriate piles.
- No trash or dog waste, please.
- New this year: Two Saturdays of free yard-waste drop-off due to popular demand.
Pumpkins - Compost clean Jack-o’-lanterns
- Drop free at the in-town Fall Clean Up Day, Friday, Nov. 7, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rodeo Grounds.
- No charge at the Recycling Center compost bin during office hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday).
- Pumpkins can also be dropped during Trash Transfer Station hours in the appropriate location at the compost area.
- IMPORTANT: No decorations, candles or painted pumpkins, please, to ensure clean, safe compost.
