Fire/EMS Prepares for New 3-Story Burn Building

Structure fires are referred to as "High-Risk, Low-Frequency" incidents.  It is great for our community that structure fires are low-frequency, but this adds tremendous risk to firefighters who might not get the experience in a realistic environment.  The new 3-story burn building will be located at the Jackson Hole Fire/EMS Watsabaugh Training Facility.  The building will meet many training needs for current and future firefighters.  The building is slated to be finished on June 21, 2019 and will be dedicated as the Mike Tepe Memorial Burn Building after Jackson Hole Fire/EMS Captain Mike Tepe who passed away due to cancer.  More to come on the official dedication, public will be welcome.
