Jackson Hole Fire/EMS Members attend Confined Space Rescue Technician training at Texas A&M Extension (TEEX) in College Station, TX.  Confined Space Rescue requires highly trained responders and specialized equipment.  Battalion Chief Brian Coe, Captain Brian Carr, Captain Mike Hazlett, FF/Paramedic Henry Cadwalader, FF/EMTI Ian Cranston and FF/EMTI Pete Wilson are ProBoard certified as Confined Space Rescue Technicians Levels 1 & 2.  Training included both classroom and skills for rescues in sewer systems, vaults, bins and many other confined spaces where victims may be entrapped.

Confined Space Rescue is a new service provided by Jackson Hole Fire/EMS.  Additional rescue equipment is being added to improve the safety of responders and insure timely rescue can occur. For more information, contact Battalion Chief Brian Coe at bcoe@tetoncountywy.gov.
