Clean Energy in Teton County

Lightning 2013-1791 Erik100% Renewable Electricity From Hydroelectric

Beginning in October 2013, Teton County began purchasing 100% renewable electricity from Lower Valley's Swift Creek low impact hydroelectric project in Afton, Wyoming.

Energy Conservation Works

Energy Conservation Works is a local joint powers board that works in partnership with the Town of Jackson, Teton County, Lower Valley Energy, and a wide spectrum of organizations to implement and advocate for energy conservation and emissions reduction in Jackson Hole. On-Site Renewable Power Generation

Part of Teton County's strategy to reduce our environmental footprint includes on-site renewable power generation. Currently, Teton County has 6 grid tied photovoltaic systems.
