Pre-Registration Details

Pre-Registration for youth programs is required prior to registering your child for Camp Jackson. Please visit our registration website and choose the Camp Jackson Catalog Tab, then select pre-registration for youth Programs.

How to be prepared for Registration Day:

  • Please review camp-specific details: Familiarize yourself with our registration website and the Camp Jackson page! All programs will have age parameters, if you child’ s age does not fall in the usual age range please reach out to our Youth Enrichment Coordinator, Rachel Carey, prior to registration day.
  • Registration is staggered this year: Registration will open at different times based on camp groups. This approach helps reduce system overload and improves the registration experience for families.
  • Pre-register your child in Youth Programs: Youth program pre-registration is a one-time setup and must be completed before camp registration opens. If your child has done youth programs before, you are all set! 
  • Join our email chain: All important updates, links, and reminders will be shared via email. Make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss any information!
  • Attend a Q&A Session:(Optional but Recommended) A Zoom link will be shared through the email chain prior to each session.

2026 Camp Jackson Details:

Registration: Youth program pre-registration is a one-time setup and must be completed before camp registration opens.

  • Wednesday, February 18th
    • 12:00 PM: Wranglers & Explorers
    • 12:30 PM: Adventurers & Counselor in Training

Program Dates: June 15th - August 21st (10 weeks)

Program Times: 9:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday

  • Optional early drop-off (8:30am - 9:00am): $25/week

Location: Drop-off & pick-up at Jackson Elementary School

Cost per Week: 

  • $255 - General Camp
  • $305 - Buckaroos & Specialty Camps
  • $125 - Counselor in Training

Camp Jackson Groups: rising indicates the grade your child will be in the 26/27 school year

Buckaroos - Pre-K and rising Kindergarten - Yeehaw for the Buckaroo's! Camp Jackson is proud to present their first ever Pre-K summer camp! They will be spending the summer making new friends, hanging at the Splash Pad, playing fun games and exploring around! 

Wooly Buggers – rising 1st grade - They will be exploring around the area and excitedly and energetically to make new friends! The wooly buggers will be doing amazing crafts, doing great community partner activities, swimming, and playing many fun games!

Rock Hoppers – rising 2nd grade - The Rock Hoppers will be out hopping around and making new friends, playing fun games, making cool crafts, swimming, meeting with amazing community partners, exploring our local and national parks and getting outside!

Wranglers – rising 3rd graders -This group will have plenty of fun hootin’ and hollerin’ around Jackson and exploring the surrounding area. Hanging out in the National Park, playing games, swimming, exploring, crafts and activities and more will all be available to the Wranglers.

Explorers – rising 4th graders - They are called the Explorers for a reason! The Explorers are rising 4th graders. They will be exploring as much as they can this summer, from rafting, paddle boarding and swimming, national park days, to awesome meet ups with local community partners. The Explorers will be movin’ and groovin’ all summer!

Adventurers – rising 5th & 6th graders - This adventurous group will be heading out to explore around the Tetons and Jackson hole, swimming, paddle boarding, rafting, art and science crafts, hanging out with friends and earning the name Adventurers!

Counselor in Training – rising 7th, 8th & 9th graders - The group of future counselors will take on more of a leadership role while still experiencing all of the fun and exciting activities involved in Camp Jackson! Each week campers will assist our camp groups in planning activities, collaborating with counselors, and practicing leadership skills all while learning and having fun!

Specialty Camps - Choose between a variety of week-long specialty camps where you focus on activities in a specific area such as sports, arts and crafts, music and dance, photography, and science. Approximately 4 hours of the day focus on activities in the specific area. The rest of the day is spent on traditional camp activities. 

  • Week 3: Art Specialty – Intended for rising 3rd +
  • Week 4: Art + Adventure Specialty – Intended for rising 3rd +
  • Week 5: Adventure Specialty Camp – Intended for rising 3rd +
  • Week 6: Art Specialty – Intended for rising 1st, 2nd, & 3rd
  • Week 7: Art + Adventure Specialty– Intended for rising 1st, 2nd, & 3rd
  • Week 8: Adventure Specialty Camp– Intended for rising 1st, 2nd, & 3rd

Weekly Activities:

Activities may include (but are not limited to): archery, swimming, splash pad, rock climbing at the Rec Center, arts and crafts, sports, STEM and nature activities, trips to Grand Teton National Park and local parks, kayaking, rafting, and programs with community partners such as Astoria Hot Springs, NPS, National Museum of Wildlife Art, Teton Raptor Center, Wyoming Stargazing, PAWS, Dave Hansen Whitewater, and more.

Camp Jackson Weekly Themes:

  • Week 1: Welcome Week & Color Clash
  • Week 2: Flora & Fauna
  • Week 3: Spirit Week (4th of July parade decorating will be a big part!)
  • Week 4: Space Week
  • Week 5: Grand Teton Music Festival – an interactive week that ends with a performance put on by our students with support of Grand Teton Music Festival!
  • Week 6: Earth Week
  • Week 7: Dance Dance Camp Revolution
  • Week 8: Who do you Appreciate! Talent Show, Olympics & Staff Appreciation week
  • Week 9: Around the World
  • Week 10: Goodbye Summer!

Camp Jackson Cancellation & Refund Policy:  

  • Camp Jackson will provide a refund minus $25 per cancelled week for cancellations up to 3 weeks prior to the camp’s start date. If a camp is cancelled within 3 weeks of the camp’s start date, no refund will be provided. 
  • No refunds will be given for campers arriving late, leaving early, dismissed from camp, or unable to attend all or part of a session.
  • Refunds may be granted after the cancellation and refund period for medical/emergency circumstances, or other related hardships, which are determined on a case-by-case basis. All requests for refunds must be in writing and emailed to the Youth Enrichment Coordinator at rcarey@tetoncountywy.gov.
  • Late Pick Up Fee
    Camp Jackson will allow a 5-minute grace period to pick up campers beyond 5:00 p.m. If campers are picked up after this grace period, parents/account holders will be assessed a late fee of $5 per 5-minute block, starting at 5:05 p.m.
  • Partial Payment Dates
    Partial Payment Plan: 50% of total paid on registration day (February 17th & February 18th), Remaining 50% balance due before April 24th.
